Miniature Stone Gardens, mainly of succulents, are ‘gardens’ that I plant on handpicked stones.

Bringing together felting with my other interest, haiku, text with textile, I created “haikufeltings,” pairing an image with haiku in a way that deepens the meaning of each form. I include a number of pieces here.

I recounted my felting beginnings in “Hairballs to Haiga: The Evolution of a New Hybrid, ‘Haikufelting’” in the debut issue of the literary journal MacQueen’s Quinterly, aka MacQ.
